Day 1: Welcome to Chengdu
Meet your private driver at the airport and settle into your hotel. If time allows, ease into Chengdu beside the tea gardens and tree-lined paths of People's Park.

Day 2: Pandas & Teahouse Chengdu
Visit Chengdu Panda Base at the confirmed admission time, followed by Kuanzhai Alley and, if time allows, tea in People’s Park. Panda activity varies; a particular animal, behaviour or photo opportunity cannot be guaranteed.

Day 3: Into the Jiuzhaigou Mountains
Take a train from Chengdu, then continue by road to the Jiuzhaigou area. The arrival station, connecting vehicle and timetable will be confirmed before booking. Allow time to settle in and rest for the following day.

Day 4: Lakes & Waterfalls of Jiuzhaigou
Spend a full day exploring Jiuzhaigou using the scenic area transport and walking routes. The lakes, waterfalls and walking sections visited depend on open routes, weather and your energy levels.

Day 5: Mountains to Chongqing
Return by road to the agreed railway station, then travel to Chongqing, with rail connections confirmed before booking. Evening sightseeing around Jiefangbei depends on your arrival time and energy levels.

Day 6: Monorails, Old Lanes & Hongya Cave
See the famous monorail pass through Li Zi Ba station, then wander the stone lanes of Ciqikou Ancient Town. After dark, return to the riverfront as the tiered wooden buildings of Hongya Cave light up above the Jialing River.

Day 7: Yangtze Views & Mountain City
Cross the Yangtze by cableway for an aerial view of Chongqing's steep riverbanks, then explore the restored courtyards of Huguang Guild Hall. Keep the later afternoon free before a final skyline view from the heights of Eling Park.

Day 8: Farewell Chongqing
Enjoy a final unhurried morning beside the rivers or around your neighbourhood before your private transfer to the airport, timed around your onward flight.
